MONDAY CAFÉ AT THE READING ROOM
Monday morning 8.45am to 2pm Morning coffee, tea and homemade cakes and toasted tea cakes followed by, at 11.30am, homemade soup with fresh bread.
Please note: The Reading Room café WILL NOT BE OPEN on the 23rd and the 30th of December during the Christmas holidays.
Remembrance Sunday 10th November 2024. The Reading Room refreshments raised £71 for the RBL. Thank you for your contributions.
COUNTRYSIDE CRAFTING ACTIVITIES
On Saturday the 19th December the Reading Room is hosting a Workshop of Crafting Activities. Workshops are free and run between 9.30am to 12 noon.
Post Office Counters Ltd are operating a Drop and Collect Parcel service from the Village News 173 Main Street. The service commences on Tuesday 3rd December at 1pm. You will still have to travel to other Post Offices for other Counter transactions following the closing of the Pop up Post Office at the Reading Room.

We are collecting plastic milk bottle tops at The Reading Room to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research (reg charity 516898) well over £8,000 raised so far!
