Carol and Jeff the Sub Postmasters from Birdwell have retired. We are waiting of news if the new Birdwell Postmaster will continue to provide this useful community service for Grenoside.
MONDAY CAFÉ AT THE READING ROOM
Monday morning 8.45am to 2pm Morning coffee, tea and homemade cakes and toasted tea cakes followed by, at 11.30am, homemade Soup with fresh bread.
The Café will REOPEN ON Monday 2nd September 2024
COUNTRYSIDE CRAFTING ACTIVITIES
On the following Thursdays and Saturday the Reading Room are hosting a number of Crafting Activities: Saturday 16th November. Thursdays 17th September. 10th and 24th October. 7th November. 5th and 19th December. All workshops are free and run between 9.30am to 12 noon.

We are collecting plastic milk bottle tops at The Reading Room to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research (reg charity 516898) over £7,000 raised so far!
